# My transaction is stuck

See if your transaction is pending on the blockchain by going to a block explorer such as [Etherscan](https://etherscan.io/). Enter your Ethereum address and see if your transaction appears as pending.

&#x20;If it stays pending for a long period, you may need to speed up or cancel your transaction using your digital wallet. If using **Metamask,** you can use this [guide](https://metamask.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015489251-How-to-speed-up-or-cancel-a-pending-transaction).&#x20;

It may take several minutes for your transaction to show up on Etherscan. If you don’t see your transaction pending after a long while, your transaction may not have gone through. Check your wallet **activity/history** for transactions stuck in your wallet’s queue.&#x20;

You can try switching from Ethereum Mainnet to one of the Test Networks and then back to Ethereum Mainnet to clear this. (Or an alternative network like Polygon)
